A very basic lift is to remove the cab from the frame and install thicker spacers under it. That lifts it up and gives more room for the tires. This only goes so far. Any more lift has to come from the suspension. That’s what a Jeep Kit is for. Depending on the model year and amount of lift desired the lift kit can go from simple to very complicated.
